MamaBix was designed and formulated by Violet Health. Violet Health's aim is to break the destructive, global cycle of anemia among pregnant women and their children through culturally appropriate iron-fortified products.
We are a social enterprise proud to be funded by USAID, Grand Challenges Canada and The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
Violet Health was founded by Jennifer Tsai, MPH, and Matthew Edmundson, who received their MBAs from NYU’s Stern School of Business. Violet Health is named in honor of NYU Stern, which brought the co-founders together, fostered their growth and provided early support.
